BOYS WILL BE BOYS

ABOUT

Shot in mid 2021, BOYS WILL BE BOYS is an abstract short drama that I conceptualised as part of the cinematography elective in the AFTRS screen production course. We location scouted in the Sydney Cricket Ground, wrote scripts, and proceeded with production with our in-house gaffers and grips.

On set, I served as director and cinematographer, which was a challenging yet fulfilling experience. Afterwards, I took the footage, edited and graded it in resolve, and am satisfied with how it turned out. It was a chance for me to experiment and be truly creative with my work, and I hope that comes through in the final product.
