Shot as a proof of concept in 2021 for a limited series, EXPOSE follows a young woman as she unravels an insidious mystery related to a string of murders. This film was made in partnership with my frequent collaborator Stella Sciberras, who directed another short I shot in late 2019, AIR HOCKEY KUNG FU.

I strayed away from my usual style with EXPOSE, opting for slower camera movements and locked off shots. I wanted to emulate a “David Fincher” type aesthetic to fit the themes of the film. Ultimately, while it was never made into a full series, I am glad to have had the opportunity to shoot EXPOSE— it was a challenging, but satisfying experience.

It was shot on a Sony FS7 MK2 with Samyang lenses. Full crew list available at the end of the film.
